The big question is what do teachers do in the summer? I would love to say travel and see the world. I always have an itch to travel. :) However, traveling takes money so I have to be smarter and save so that some day I can travel tons! Jonathan also just got a job and doesn't get vacation until he has been at the company for a year. That kinda put a halt to our plans to go on vacation this summer. However, he gets two days off at Thanksgiving and I get three. We are thinking about going then for a mini getaway.
Our choices are:
1. Miami, FL (South Beach)
2. Vegas
3. San Fran
4. 3 day cruise to the Bahamas
The down side to all of this is that we have to pick the most EXPENSIVE days to fly and because of work, we cannot be flexible. For example, flight prices drop by about $200 on that Monday after Thanksgiving weekend. So who knows! We will have to see what our budget allows. Until then, keep planning!
