Proposal: Jonathan came home from lunch after he forgot to pack it the night before. I had practice until noon and so he got home before me. When I got home he was on one knee with flowers and the ring.
Why this is special? Jonathan always thinks it's hard to surprise me. Also, when you live together, you are always together. If he would have planned a huge dinner and night out it would have been obvious. So he had to get tricky. I thought it was so special and fun how he proposed because I was completely caught off guard and surprised! He did well.

UPDATE 9/7: We have recently booked both the church and the reception hall (State Theatre). I am so excited that both of my number one picks came through! Lisa, the manager of the theatre where my reception is, is so nice and helpful. There is a girl getting married there this October who has some adorable ideas. Can't wait to go see and maybe get some good ones! With volleyball going on, I have had no time to think about the wedding, but I am working on blocking rooms for all of our out of town guests. UPDATE 10/23: My mom sent me pictures of the October 15th wedding and it was gorgeous. I am impressed by what they have done to the State since we have been there. I am still so excited we found this gem. I also got my wedding dress! We went and looked, thinking we would not get one, and this was the first dress I saw and the first dress I tried on. I am so lucky. I absolutely LOVE it! When people say you will know when you find THE dress. I knew!
Update 11/28: We have decided on what to do for save the dates and we are actually making them. I don't want to give away too many details, so I will leave it at that. But they are adorable and they follow my fun movie theme! :) Over the holidays, my bridesmaids and I are shopping for dresses for them and my mom and I are going to go taste some different foods from caterers. Excited to finalize it all!
